Tambu Madzivire is a holder of Bachelor of Commerce degree in Insurance and Risk Management from the National University of Science and Technology, a Diploma in Insurance from United Kingdom (ACII) and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Eastern and Southern Africa Management Institute. She brings with her a wealth of insurance experience having worked in all facets of short term insurance from insurance broking, direct underwriting as well as reinsurance. Tambu has both local and regional experience having started her career in 1995 at Diamond Insurance Company. In 1997 she moved to Zimnat Insurance Company. She then moved to Grand Reinsurance Company where she worked as the General Manager before she founded Dynamic Insurance Brokers in 2008 where she was the CEO. She left Dynamic in 2010 to join the United Nations Development Program, AMSCO arm, in the West African Country of Nigeria where she was the Reinsurance Consultant for Adic Insurance Company. From 2012, she came back to Zimbabwe and joined Credit Insurance Company as the Head of Operations before moving to Champions Insurance Company where she worked as the Managing Director, until November 2019 when she left and founded Dynamic Risk Solutions ,an Underwriting Management Agent.Tambu has over 20 years of Management experience and 12 of which were at executive level.
Leonard has vast experience in insurance, reinsurance and risk management spanning over 23 years. He started his career with a multinational organization that has interest in more than 80 countries. He has worked in specialty lines that included Financial, Engineering and Property insurance underwriting for 5years. He later expanded his knowledge in Reinsurance, Insurance and property development. Leonard has worked with a reinsurance broking arm which later grew to be the second largest in Zimbabwe, where he headed Treaty negotiations & programming including placement of facultative business locally and internationally. Leonard’s experience further extends to the Insurance Institute of Zimbabwe as the Secretary General where he was instrumental in the localization of the Insurance Diploma, and the conglomerate with regional and international interests in Life Assurance, Funeral Assurance and Insurance Broking, where he was the Managing Director of the Broking firm.
Jephias joined Dynamic Risk Solutions in 2019 as a Non:Executive Director. He has over 14 years of experience within the insurance, risk management and consultancy industry, having consulted extensively in the areas of Insurance, Risk, Governance and Compliance. He has previously worked for Companies like Zimnat Lion Insurance and Deloitte South Africa among others. Jephias is the Founder and current Managing Director of Pachedu Skills Solutions, a company involved in skills and training development within the insurance and general financial services industry in South Africa. The company is now 5 years old and Jephias managed to increase its revenue from R600, 000 in its first year of trading to R5, 000, 000 in its 4th year. He is also a part-time Lecturer of Risk, Governance and Compliance at the University of the Witwatersrand’s School of Law. Jephias is a graduate of the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) with a B.Com degree in Risk Management and Insurance. He also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Laws from the University of London and is currently in his final year of the Master of Laws (LLM) degree with the same university.
Tsungirirai Grace Gwarinda has 8 years of experience in the Insurance Industry which she joined straight after her high school education. She holds a Certificate Of Proficiency in insurance and is currently studying towards her Diploma in Risk Management and Insurance.
Law Nyamukondiwa is a graduate trainee in insurance and risk management. She is a good negotiator with great risk assessment skills. Law has great client management skills and an ambitious young lady with great potential in the risk management sector
